I want you to update Firefly Board and include Elements like Design Assets, Background, Icons, Shapes, etc just like in Adobe Express. This feature will be a changer, thanks for everything Adobe.

Hello Adobe Firefly Team,

I’ve been actively using Firefly Board for concept development and visual ideation, and I’ve run into a limitation that significantly affects workflow efficiency.

Currently, Firefly Board does not include a built-in Elements panel (such as icons, shapes, design assets, backgrounds, and vector graphics) similar to what is available in Adobe Express.

This creates friction because:

  • Users must leave Firefly to source icons, shapes, or backgrounds.

  • There’s no quick way to build structured layouts.

  • Concept boards remain image-based rather than design-ready.

  • Rapid prototyping is limited compared to Express.

It would be extremely valuable if Firefly Board included:

• A searchable Elements library
• Built-in vector shapes (arrows, frames, callouts, containers)
• Icons and UI symbols
• Background textures and gradients
• Drag-and-drop design assets
• Editable vector elements

This would allow Firefly Board to function not only as an ideation space, but as a full concept-to-design workflow tool.

Given that Adobe already has these assets integrated in Express, bringing similar functionality into Firefly Board would significantly improve usability and reduce tool-switching.

      Thank you so much for taking the time to lay this out.

      This is a really thoughtful breakdown of what would make Boards more powerful as a concept to design tool.
       

      Some of the points you mentioned already exist in a more limited form, so I wanted to share what I’m seeing on my side:

      • For structured layouts, Boards does support arranging, aligning, and distributing elements on the canvas. The alignment tools are documented here, in case it’s helpful.
      • For shapes, you can add artboards and basic shapes directly in Boards as well. That’s covered here.
         

      As for the broader idea you’re describing: a full Elements panel with icons, vectors, UI symbols, textures, gradients, and drag‑and‑drop assets; isn’t currently part of Boards, and I can absolutely see how that would streamline ideation and reduce switching to other tools. Bringing over some of Adobe Express assets libraries would definitely expand what people can do without leaving the workspace.
