Inpaint modal: can't access image history or save high-res without starting over

When using inpaint, I want to generate higher resolution image, and save the image in my own environment/history. I feel a bit stuck in the modal without ability to go back or continue. I can only download a low-res image or buy, or return and start all-over.

When tapping 'back' I would expect to see the overview of all images I generated so far, where I came from. not the 'homepage' with button 'upload image'

The user interface for Generative Fill has been completely changed and addresses the issues you raised. You now can upscale the image and can go back to previous generations.

Hello @HelloNelleke,

Thank you for your suggestion. Even though text to image allows you now to go back through history, generative fill does not. It would be a great edition to do that. Note, if you use Photoshop, you are able to go backwards as each new generative fill addition is a new layer.  What I do when I expect a long session with generative fill is to save the file locally after every few changes. That way I can go backwards if needed or can recover in case the session is reset.

Thanks again for your suggestion.

Thanks,
