It would be nice to have the ability to keep the base picture.

When changing styles, the base picture is almost the same. But when the prompt is changed, the picture changes a lot. It would be nice to be able to return to the picture we kept when we think the previous base picture was better.

Thanks for the replies. I have tried both features.
"You can also use the back button in your browser to navigate back to previous generations." this comment is close to the answer to what I thought.

Have you tried the "Use as reference image" feature in the "..." menu? You can choose how much of the reference image to maintain while chaging parts of the prompt. You can also use the back button in your browser to navigate back to previous generations.
