Observations and Suggestions for Improvement

Hello, I'm new here and for fun I'm converting images and images to videos. I already have some experience from various free AI generation platforms. I understand that AI is still developing and that it sometimes doesn't understand my words completely. Therefore, I would suggest that there be an option to generate a rough preview before the main generation. Because even if I run the generation with the lowest computational power requirements and the result is acceptable, the next video will be generated again according to new algorithms and the result may differ. So either during generation, a number should be generated that will allow the video to generate consistently according to the same sequence. Or it should generate a preview of 1 frame per second.

I understand that AI likes to make things up, but if a character is at the same distance in the original, it sticks to the concept, but as it gets closer, it invents interesting, even creepy things and creates characters that don't match the concept of the environment. "Basically, in ancient times, on a Greek frigate, Princess Jasmine from Aladdin appeared."

I didn't find in the FAQ for partner models information about how much a credit costs for 1080p (approximately 120-130 credits/second), so please update it.

I would very much like to ask you, raise your standards and add 10 or more seconds to your models, all AI models (image to video) commonly have this. I chose Adobe because you have long-term experience in graphic processing and have extensive expertise. I don't know whether you have your own computational power or if you purchase it, like other partner models, but based on reviews of other AI platform models, it's clear that you're excellent at this.

I'll be happy to respond to your feedback.

Yes, I could use some help! I've run out of credits!
Does topping up credits mean switching to a different monthly plan, or is it an additional monthly plan on top of the basic plan? I'm confused about this.
I just want to purchase more credits and I don't want to lose access to Photoshop and Firefly.

Hi @Maz? Jaroslav

Very sorry for the late reply. Yes, you can purchase just the credits. It's a separate subscription just for credits. It's a top-up for credits apart from the plan you have.

Let us know if you need help. You can also connect with the chat support for a one-to-one conversation by clicking the chat bubble icon in the bottom right corner of this page: https://adobe.ly/47yVOPF.

Thanks

Thank you for the info about the costs, I didn't notice that.
I understand the high costs of running AI computing power. From what I've tried with other AI architectures, everywhere it's only 5s. More is needed when credit is per seconds.
I found a solution for how to make a longer video. I took the last frame of the video and used it as an image for a new video so the video would continue. The problem was that each video was degraded in quality by tens of percent. 720p, 480p, 360p, etc., even though the resolution remained 720p.

Therefore, to save credits, I suggest that after generating a video, it should be possible to make a high-quality screenshot of the video at a selected timestamp, so you can continue the video again. I would also have that screenshot further processed and sharpened by AI, of course considering the AI computing power per credit.

It's nice that you can insert a starting and ending image, and then it's up to the AI how it connects these two images into a video, but the preview is still missing there.
to give credit when the AI doesn't deliver. I know AI always has an answer. I see that in AI Photoshop, what it imagines when it completes an image.

Let me ask, does Adobe offer any promotions on credits?
Thank you.

Hi @Maz? Jaroslav

Thanks again for your detailed and thoughtful feedback. It’s clear you’ve spent time exploring Firefly’s capabilities and limitations, and we really value that.  We totally understand the frustration with the quality drop despite maintaining resolution. The idea of allowing users to take high-quality screenshots at specific timestamps and even enhance them with AI is brilliant. It would definitely help creators build smoother, more cohesive video sequences while saving credits. We’ll share this suggestion with the product team.Regarding your question about promotions on Firefly credits, Adobe occasionally offers them. For the latest deals, check out the official Adobe offers page here. Let us know if you need additional help.

Hey @Maz? Jaroslav

These are suggestions that I would to see implimented to some extent: especially the preview idea.

Regarding the credits:

At the bottom of the right hand side of the screen, the amount used for ea generation appears.

Veo 500 credits

Ray 3 500 credits
Ray HDR 1500 credits as of Oct 7th, 2025

Hope this helps
Nate
