P: Character limit restricts image descriptions (merged thread)

I am finding the limitation of the characters very difficult to get to the Image I desire. In fact it's Miles away.

      The character limit restriction is preventing me from using Firefly, all my prompts are more than 1,000 characters. This limitation is a red line that prevents me from using it.

      Hi roger_4516,

      I suggest that you use Firefly Boards, it’s designed for longer, more detailed prompts, and the character limit there varies depending on the model. For example, GPT Image models can handle prompts of up to around 5,000 characters.
       

      I tested this myself with a prompt close to 5,000 characters, and it worked successfully 

       

      Boards give you more flexibility for complex, narrative‑style inputs, so they’re a great option when you want to go beyond the shorter limits of text‑to‑image.

      Hopefully this helps you unlock the full potential of your longer prompts for future generations.

      Although I understand why the limit is in place, I too would appreciate an increased limit. Preferably at least 2000 characters
