I am finding the limitation of the characters very difficult to get to the Image I desire. In fact it's Miles away.

We need more characters. I can't describe anything the way I want to.

Hi,

I agree, so I vote for this request. What bothers me even more, however, is that I can't use realistic characters in Seedance 2.0. But the videos I create for my clients are generally supposed to be as realistic as possible. Since Seedance 2.0 generally—that is, with other aggregators—has no such restrictions, at least not for months now, it's up to Adobe to finally remove these unnecessary hurdles.

Have fun

I find it truly absurd that, despite so many users asking for the exact same thing, Adobe still hasn't raised the prompt token limit.

I can understand it for images, as overly long descriptions can confuse models (though that rarely happens with the better models nowadays). However, for advanced video models like Seedance, having the ability to use extended prompts is fundamental.

I often find myself forced to strip my prompts down to the bare bones just to get Firefly to accept them, which obviously significantly diminishes the quality of the generated videos.

it is not a feature, it has literally become a deal breaker for me at this point

I used to use a prompt longer than the current 145-character limit. The results were infinitely better, since it was a prompt containing detailed commands and concise processes. Now, even though they optimized the prompt for this new, supposedly "better" limit, not only is it impossible to obtain comparable results (besides consuming credits), but you also have to keep editing Firefly's errors. Perhaps that's what Firefly is now... after. All for the sake of business.

Adobe Firefly has become a powerful platform for image and video generation, especially when working with reference images. However, the current prompt length limit is too restrictive for professional workflows.

The prompt field is often too short to properly describe composition, camera angle, lighting, atmosphere, subject placement, scene structure, motion, visual effects, and relationships between multiple reference images.

This limitation affects all generation models and workflows, including image generation, video generation, image-to-video, and reference-based creation.

Users frequently need to remove important creative instructions simply because there is not enough space in the prompt field. This reduces control over the final result and makes it harder to fully utilize the capabilities of Firefly.

Please significantly increase the prompt character limit or provide an Advanced Prompt mode with a much larger text capacity for complex creative projects.

The current limit is not sufficient for professional-level prompting and reference-driven workflows.

Short prompt is driving me out of Adobe Firefly subscription!!!
