Please make it easier to delete/reject unusable results and refine results

It needs to be easier to reject and delete entire batches of images so the generator stops building on bad results. 95 percent of the results I get are not close to what I'm looking for, and I want to be able to easily permanently delete the whole batch. I can't find a way to do that.

Also, when I get a result that's close to what I want, it would be super useful if I could say - just like this, keep it exactly the same, except replace the blond dreadlocks with straight brown hair, for example.

Hey  @KayteinLA

I agree. For us numbers are pretty straight forward. We need to remember that Firefly is trained on Adobe Stock and other material.

When photographers upload content, they use keywords to help people find his/her images. If the person does not specify 3 women or 3 men or 3 people in the keyword finder then Firefly is going to struggle. There are so many factors that go into generating an image. This is one of the many struggles the developers are having at the moment.

Hey @KayteinLA

I agree having a checkbox to delete the image after being generated would be very useful. Thank you for writing a very detailed explaination. To add a bit more to @Kartika Rawat mentioned.

Getting a specific number of people is tough. I suggest looking at Adobe Stock images and see what types keywords people are using to describe the images that resemble something similar to what you want.

I find using a group of 'women' gets me at least 3 or more people.

Wide angle and background. Something I have found useful is to start with your background. Wide angle shot of a field, office, and so on. Ask specifically for what you want in your background.

Then use the background image as your style ref. Then prompt the "group" in an office setting.

It is strange that getting a specific number of things is such a challenge.
You would think that numbers would be pretty straightforward for AI to
understand.

Thank you @KayteinLA  for your feedback and suggestions.

Under  Files you can delete the images that are not suitable.

2) When you generate images that work, give a thumbs up w a bit of feedback.

- Give a thumbs down for the images that are not suitable.

3) Having a reference image and style image does help Firefly considerably.

Cheers

I want to be able to delete the files from the generator view. It’s
unnecessarily cumbersome to have to keep going back to the file view to
delete something, especially because in the file view, you only see
thumbnails, so it’s harder to see which ones to delete. When you click on an
image to see it closer, it takes you back into generator view.

It would be helpful if you could add the little check boxes to batch delete
from the generator view, or at least add the option to permanently delete
from the ellipses on the right of each batch of 4 AND on the top left drop
down for each image.

I was using reference photos to generate images, but the AI doesn’t seem to
have any concept of numbers. Even thought the reference photos for both
style and composition had three women, and I asked for three/3 women, it
kept giving me 4 or more. I frequently have this problem. Also, they often
had three arms, or just one; hands, as usual, were garbled; and clothes were
sometimes part one thing, part another – like one leg in shorts and one in
long jeans, or half one shirt, half another, or not resembling clothes, or
humans at all. The more times I generate, the worse it gets.

I am using the thumbs up and down. When I got something close that was a ¾
view of three women, I asked for the same exact women in the same room from
a wider angle showing the whole person including feet. It would not generate
a wider view. Later, with a different prompt, it gave me the whole person,
but 4 or more people, not the same women. Sometimes it seemed to understand
when I was focused on one image, and set it as a composition and style
image, and asked for the same women, it gave me the same women, and other
times, it changed them to completely different women. When I tried to
generate more ideas, it seemed to keep the same composition with slight
variations to the faces and clothing, and more and more errors and
distortions.

Three hours of trying didn’t really get me anything close to what I was
asking for, but at least it generated some parts I could comp in together in
Photoshop.

Thanks for your thoughtful feedback. We really appreciate it. Your suggestion to add delete options directly in the generator view is a great one, and we'll pass it along to our product team. Thanks for using the thumbs up/down tools, they’re key to training better results. We’re working hard to make Firefly more consistent and intuitive for creators like you.

Let us know if you have more ideas or questions!
