Perhaps Adobe will release different versions of Firefly.

Let's wait and see

I hear you and agree this is a frustration.

For now, if it's gen fill or expand, I stick to doing it in Ps.

It's as if I imported about 20 Mpx image, it's been downscaled to 2K and then upscaled to 4K with the worst possible scaling algorithm.

@@mjactually, I managed to get an image of 4096px on the longer edge (my input was still higher res), but it's just upscaled with very low quality and high compression.

Anyway, thanks for the input!

Hi @Einstein1996 ,

I quote from Adobe "We plan to offer higher-resolution images, animation, video, and 3D generative AI features in the future"

There is no quality difference between the free vs paid sub afaik.

I agree with you that the 2k x 2k limitation and download formats are limiting.

Hi,

Photoshop will respec5 your resolution.

If you are using gen fill for hi-res output, this is a better way to go.

To be exact, I meant the generative fill feature.

I will chime in.

I want to know if this limitation is present in Adobe Firefly Premium. Is there currently any resolution or quality limitation with Adobe Firefly Premium?
The irony is that it exports to PNG which makes no sense. The output file weighs more, even though it's lower quality.
Prabhu, please tell us: did you use free or Premium Firefly?
