Redesign the UI/UX in Firefly

Several times I've waitied 10+ minutes for a video to generate only to find it's totally unexpected as I unintentionally started from a different starting frame image. The uI really does suck and would benefit from a complete overhaul. Cramped text box, small preview images and lack of asset management features.

Yes, you're right about the length being increased to 10-seconds as of September 2025, I was mistaken, thanks for the correction. It is a fine idea to make the UI better. Hopefully, it will likely improve over time. Interesting about asset management features being added. Do other text-to-video engines have features you like?

Hi,

Ray3 which allows 10 second videos - but regardless, I'm talking about the Ui that is used across all models. I find it less than optimal, confusing (even though it's simple) and just not intuitive when it comes to managing the previously generated assets.

The 10 second videos definitetly take 10 minutes if not longer for me. I'm on a super fast broadband connection although that won't make any difference anyway.

Paul.

Hi @Silicon Pixel Glassworks, which text-to-video model are you using from the drop-down menu? Or do you have this experience regardless of the model? It's never taken me 10 minutes to generate a 5-second video (the maximum length). What type of prompts are you using? Can you share an example and I will see what I can generate on my end? Is your connection unusually slow? Sounds like you are uploading a composition reference clip. Ideally, that should start from the frame you want Firefly to generate.
