It would be awesome to be able to use the same character generated and have that same character in various pics. 

This would be helpful when illustrating a book.

    I suppose you would need to use Photoshop layers to do that. Once you have created the character you like, download that image. And then separately create the backgrounds. Layer them in Photoshop.
