Hi @SOPHIA38213193a6es,

Yes, if you select the model pull down, you can select Model 3 from the list:

Please also note that Model 4 does not have an "upscale" capability because there is no lower resolution generation in Model 4 like fastmode is in model 3. I explain this in more detail above (see my post marked as a "correct answer").

can you go back to using mode 3? if so how?

There used to be an option to "upscale" your image/artwork before you downloaded. I cant seem to find it anymore...is this no longer an option or was it moved?

I've noticed that I can’t upscale the images I’m generating in Firefly Image 4. Has this feature been removed, or is there a new way to upscale in the latest model?

Hi traceyc73812617!

Thank you for your question! In the Image 4 model, the Fast mode available in Image 3 has been removed because all images are now generated in high resolution by default. This ensures consistently high-quality results without the need to switch modes.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Hello @Felix Sia,

Thank you for your message.

Did you generate with Model 4?  Model 4 does not have a fast mode like Model 3 did. The resolution of Model 4 generated images is the same as "upscaled" Model 3 images (or model 3 images generated with fast mode turned off).

Thanks,

Before Firefly 4 came out, there used to be an upscaling option for the generated images in the edit tab. Where is it?

Hi @kokotvamd10140309,

Model 3 fast mode is lower resolution than Model 3 upscaled (or fast mode turned off)

Model 3 Upscaled is the same resolution as Model 4.

These are not equivalent:

  • Model 3 fast mode :: Model 3 Upscaled
  • Model 4 :: Model 4 Ultra

So, there is not a concept of taking a model 4 image and upscaling it to Model 4 Ultra. Model 4 and Model 4 ultra have the same resolution. The quality of the image is better with Ultra, but the resolution is the same.

Because I need the same quality of the images as it was with the upscales. I just need to get back the one it was there with upscale. If I need to pay a plan, can you tell me please in which plan I should go for? I need only 2000 images per month, but not sure if this plan contains upscale as well?

Thank you for quick reply 🙂

Today morning I was able to upscale the images on Firefly and also when I was generating them, always new ones were on top 4 row. It was nice and easy to read, basically from top to bottom as history goes, to me it makes more sense.
Now they are new on bottom always.  The upscale - there was the nice option to upscale all on the top right side, but now there is no upscale anywhere. Are the images already upscaled, so there is no need to upscale them?

Hello @kokotvamd10140309,

Thank you for your message.

There is no fast mode in Model 4, so the upscale button is not visible when generating Model 4 images. If you are asking why you cannot click an upscale button to upscale an image 4 Ultra, I suspect the Ultra model was not designed to accomodate that; only a fresh generation.

Are you saying you prefer new generations to be on top?  If so, I am curious as to why you prefer that.

Thanks,
