We understand that the current behavior, where the favorite icon disappears when selecting items via checkbox, makes it more difficult to quickly identify and manage favorited entries. We also appreciate you pointing out that the previous behavior provided better usability.
 

We’ve shared this observation with the product team for consideration. Keeping the favorite indicator visible at all times, including during multi-select actions, would help preserve context and improve the overall workflow, especially to manage and protect important items.
 

In the meantime, to reduce the risk of accidentally deleting important items, we recommend downloading your favorited generations as a temporary safeguard before performing bulk actions.
