Add 'Embed in Output File' option for H264 in Medadata Export.Currently unable to create H264 proxy files which contain the timecode from the camera.
Can you please add a scheduling feature into Media Encoder. Would be handy to schedule a render at night or during lunch hours. Thank you.
Add an export option to extract and split the audio channels from a video file and export into individual .mp3/wav files.
When I get rushes that have 4 tracks of audio I want to be able to choose the tracks that I want to process and mute in AME to create dailies. Much like Modify Clip > Audio Channels in Premiere Pro.
Media Encoder 2020 does not render Essential Graphics right when using SourceRectAtTime() Expressions. In Premiere everything looks fine and Shape Layers are adjusting accordingly. But when rendering through the Media Encoder the Expression seems to be ignored.Exporting through Premiere works fine though...
Yes, very soon I hope to see some development about integrating ACES 2065-1 in Adobe Creative Cloud. PPpro, AE, Photoshop, AME, etc. It is a must for color management. Thank you
When you get an interlaced graphics file for tv and have to do an online version in progressive you need to transcode it with the best de-interlacing possible
Please give me the option to sort the render queue by name, date added, or even video length. Right now, to reorder the queue, I can only do it by dragging processes up and down.
I'd like to have more integration with Vimeo in the Publish window. There are only 3 privacy options now for "Viewable": Only me, Anybody, Anybody with password. I'd like to add the option of anybody with private link. It would help with automatically setting privacy for sharing with out clients. Thanks!
There's no quantity number to tell us the total number of items in the queue. Would be useful
How would you like the feature to work? I would like to be able to select everything in the queue and collapse it all down to one line with one click much the way you can in the After Effects Render Queue. I believe you hold down Command or Option and everything collapses to one line. Why is this feature important to you?It makes it easier to scroll though a long list of items, especially when you are transcoding footage or generating proxies.
Add the ability to import an audio file into an image sequence
CBR is not real CBR.With every CBR settings in media encoder, final export always has the lower data rate rather than the chosen data rate.
smart phones are variable frame rate- if you want to be able to edit with this footage it has to be constant frame rate- hand brake does this for free but you have to choose one file at a time and its slow-
I would love if you guys could add some sort of way to use AME through a command line. This way I can create an automated script to convert an entire set of movies or video to a new format to reduce file size. A way to do this would be great thx.
Watch a folder where image sequences are rendered but wait a user define image count before processing. ex : watch a folder or sub folders >if watch folder or subfolder have x files then start batch processing this folder
BUG: When exporting multiple files with different outputs, ME just pauses after each output for the source is finished. User needs to click Pause and then Play icons to continue on to the next source. Each source switch requires the user to manually Pause and Play to continue. Please fix this batch export bug.
When adding an output to an existing premiere pro export, media encoder RESETS the work area to something unexpected. Example: I might want to export a 20 seconds clip from Premiere, and have set the work area accordingly. When adding an output, ME will NOT respect such work area, but will export a 10 minutes clip, even if the timeline in premiere does not contain any extra clips ! Attached: Screenshots of (1) a premiere timeline: the work area is 5 seconds long. (2) the ME output settings: the work area has become 10 minutes long ! The issue persists since the last major upgrade to V. 22
I cannot clear the queue because there is a failed render there. Is this how it should be? I just want to remove everything in the queue.
Latest upgrade to 22.5. Trimming (mark in/out) raw clips using Media Browser in Premiere and sending them to Media Encoder to batch encode. The clips sent to Media Encoder no longer retain their in/out points. I mark a clip with specific duration in Premiere and then "send to media encoder". In media encoder I look at the clip duration and the marks are gone and it encodes the entire clip.
When adjusting settings and in and out points, or even adding effects, the ability to play the video would be extremely helpful. With audio as well, since you may have an in or out point that you want associated with an audio cue while video is still in black. I really don’t understand why this Basic functionality was left out. It seems obvious that you need to be able play the audio and video in this part of this app.
We have hundreds of completed MP4 videos that need Closed Captions. I would like to grab a group of say 10 videos into Media Encoder and get back 10 SRT files.Currently when I make a preset that should do this, it exports the same MP4 file (even though I've checked Audio), but NO SRT file.I would also like to do the same batch effort to create the Transcription file for each of the videos.I have looked in your Adobe community and people have been complaining about the ME Closed Captions NOT working for almost 4 years. Most schools require Closed Captioning so more and more companies could take advantage of this process working.
Is it possible to export/transcode multiple sequences or source files at once? At my place of work we use machines that are powerful enough to export multiple outputs for one file. It would save a lot of time if we could export multiple files at the same time, instead of waiting for each individual sequence or file to export one at a time. Since we use machines that should be powerful enough to handle multiple outputs, I'm thinking that this should be able to work for multiple sequences or source files. Is this a feature Adobe currently has or may implement in the future?
(Currently ver. 15.4 build 42) For several versions, maybe since its inception, AME has ignored the setting for "Duration" when creating a preset. When I change the duration of the settings to "Entire duration" and save it as a preset, AME will revert back to "Work Area" (the default) whenever I restart another AME session or I switch presets.Having to open up the settings panel to change the duration almost every time I use a preset kind of defeats the purpose of having them, agreed? Or at best, slows down the process significantly because it takes some time for the panel to come up while I wait unproductively. Please inform if there's a way to do this that I'm missing or if this is the expected behavior. Thanks.
We would like to suggest something that would help a lot if it was on a future version of ME. We are a TV channel and we currently working on older material (4:3 interlaced). When we open those files in Premiere Pro we de-interlace it through flicker removal on field options. Though there are a ton of files. It would be very helpful if ME had a flicker removal option, so we could apply it on multiple files simulatenously.
