Let us Polygon fill other channels besides Base color

Currently, the Polygon fill tool is very useful for editing base color and masks.

I do not see an obvious technical reason why it can’t also affect Height, Roughness, Normal and other channels, as well as erase things.

Please add this feature.

You have posted in the Substance 3D designer forum. Are you using Substance Painter?

Unfortunately, in thse new forums, I can’t yet move your post to the Painter forum for you. https://community.adobe.com/substance-3d-painter-56

Your request is valid, but in the meantime you can impact any of those channels by using a fill, adding a mask and using polygon fill on the mask.

Yes, sorry, I meant to post on the Painter forum. I will post there.

As for the intermediate solution - yeah, but I’m talking about cases like using a paint layer with an anchor point attached, which drives a bunch of generators up top. I can’t use a mask with that because the anchor point doesn’t respect the mask. I’d also like to be able to erase stuff in those paint layers not by painting but by selecting polys and meshes, that’d be very convenient
