Hello! Long time after effects user here! I'll get right to the things I would love to see added to AE.
1. Native Depth of Field and Motion Blur for Advanced Render. This would bring so much value using 3d in AE. Especially for competing plugins that the public has used but is now not functional to the degree it once was.

2. Advanced renderer better render optimizations. (it unfortunatly is a very slow renderer making it impossible to use on time sensative projects when it could be the perfect solution.)

3. Gradient fills for text Layers. I would love this very much. More custome text in AE. Great for templates

4. Multiple Strokes for text: the ability to add more than one stroke on text layers would be amazing to make customizable, procedural text and text animation without the need for complex layers and a cool way to utilize text animators potentially. This could also help with seamlessly mimicking looks if Illustrator text in AE. Maybe even one day be able to send text directly from Illustrator to AE with all settings. (multiple fills, strokes, layer styles etc)

5. Stroke path options for text layers: much like the shape layers options for stroke paths just for text! I know you can convert text to a shape layer. But in practice this always comes to bite you in the bum if you are a place that has to make lots of edits or reuse projects but update text. Plus animation oppurtunities would expand and create easy new text animations. essentially i just want text layers to act like shape layers but with text lol.

6. Pre-comp Depth map: you could create a precomp and use it as a depth map using its actual depth if the objects inside were placed in 3d space. I know there are work arounds to do this but a intuitive way to do this would be amazing.

7. I am not sure if this makes sense. but an option to control whether a layer style is rendered before or after the motion blur would be nice as well.
