Ability to read easing in expressions

Pleaase Adobe I need this!

Hello, I was trying to recreate the bezier value curve and integrate it faster using math equations.
but, I was shocked to know that you can't read easing information using expression, it felt weird for some reason that you can read the value and the value, but not easing data.
It will really really reaaally help me be able to create things that won't be possible like:
1 - faster simulation that was O(n), it will be O(1) using faster integration
2-getting the pre-expressino value of a property as valueAtTime(t) only gives the post-expression value.
I hope it will be added soon.
thanks!

I hope to see this feature in after effects 26 please🫡❤️.
It is not that hard prbably and will open many things to do using expressions like signal processing techniques that will do a lot of things faster!❤️

Yes, I am imagining it to be the same as scripting.
Something like key(1).inEase
Or
key(1).inInfluence
Or throught an ease object like in scripting.
But ofcurse, scripting is static, expressino is dynamic.
In Expressions, the properties' values will react for the changes in easing, on other hand scripting won't be dynamic.
So many things can be done using this, I mentioned some of them.
this thing will open new things that wasn't possible before.

Hi @ahmed hamed elsaid,
Thanks for making this request and for the followup. No worries on the mention.

For feature requests like this, we hope to see engagement from the AE community in the form of votes and additional comments to help us gauge interest and wider utility, so we may not respond to every request right away.

Regarding reading the easing information via expression, would you imagine it being similar to how easing is accessed via scripting? Would using the current scripting hooks for easing offer the same benefits?

Cheers,

- John, After Effects Engineering Team
