Add an option to scale masks independently from layer content in Transform

Currently, when scaling a layer in After Effects, the mask scales along with it. This behavior is often inconvenient, especially when users want to resize only the layer content while keeping the mask's shape and position intact.
It would be extremely helpful to have an option in the Transform properties that allows users to choose what to scale:

Scale Content Only (scales the image/video but keeps the mask fixed)
Scale Mask Only (scales the mask but keeps the content size unchanged)
Scale Both (default behavior)

This small addition would greatly improve workflow efficiency, reducing the need for unnecessary pre-compositions or track matte setups.

Would love to see this feature in future updates!

A good workaround is to avoid roto'ing directly on the layer and use mattes instead to resize them independently.

If you've already done the roto:

  1. Duplicate the layer
  2. Delete the mask(s) from the original layer
  3. Use the duplicate as a matte on the original

This way you can modify their transform properties without effecting both at the same time.
