Add effect presets to CC Library

I would like to be able to add .ffx presets to a CC library. I often use presets to store things like shape layer animations that get reused often for a particular client, or UI elements for UX prototyping. It would be nice to get all of these elements into a single library that teammates can contribute to.

Yeah, they really need to implement this...

All these recommendations don't cut it.

Nobody (including me) wants to dig thru a ton of Adobe/ProgramFiles/Presets -- etc....

Especially when .ffx get updated by me, or new ones added regularly...

There are so many things CC Libraries CAN'T do in AE it's so frustrating.  Have your text presets in AI, just click it in AE -- oh wait -- you can't.  Apply a color to your text like AI?  Nope.  Ability to add as shape layers instead of AI file?  Nope.

I save my custom Animation Presets to Dropbox. I've created an alias to the Dropbox folder in the Library where custom presets live. I can share Dropbox with anyone, access it when I am freelancing at another studio, and always keep things organized so I can find them. It takes about 2 minutes to set up. The only annoying thing is the warning you get when you save an animation preset to the Dropbox folder, but you can set that to only.

@RobShultz that does work, but centralizing into a library would be preferable, especially when onboarding another designer to a project

An approach for you may be to save your presets and then share the saved presets from the AE User Presets folder with other members of your team.
