Align to the middle (vertically) doesn't work with masked video (AE 26)

The After Effects Align & Distribute tool does not recognise Mask boundaries - so, it ignores Masks.

Howdy, Roland, masks have been recognized by Align for me until I just updated to AE 26.3.0. I’m not sure why everyone else’s experience has been different than mine, but that’s how it worked for me. If you have any insights into that, let me know! 🤙

It’ll be good if you showed a screen recording.

Here’s a recording I did - it shows the built-in Align|Distribute Tool and my rendition. The default tool does not account for Masks while mine works with the first closed mask it finds.

And this is in V25 - results are identical in all versions, AFAIK.
