Anchor point on text layers to stay centralized

I am constanly centering the anchor point on text layers. I'd love to have the ability for AE to keep the anchor point centralized on the text layer regardless of adjusting the leading, basline shift etc.

@inzari masudi The Lock Anchor Point preset is included with version 23.0 and later. See https://helpx.adobe.com/after-effects/using/whats-new/2023.html for links to more details. The preset was originally called "Force Anchor Point" and updated to "Lock Anchor Point" in later versions.

Hello, I would like to know which version of AE is the preset"lock anchor point" shipped with, I'm currently using 22.6.0

Thanks for the reply. I haven't tried the preset but that's just an extra step. I do hope they impliment this by default as it would save soooo much time. I am fighting anchor points all day long. Any time the text is adjusted the anchor point never stays centralized. Please pass the word to get this implimented! 🙂

Thanks for making this request! I've moved it to our Ideas section.

AE does currently ship with a preset called "Lock Anchor Point", which allows you to keep the Anchor Point in any location a layer, including in the center, even as the size or contents of the layer change. Does this help with the Text layers in your current projects? If not, how could it improved?
