Auto interpret video files' color space

It would be so good if After Effects could detect any embedded colourspce info in video / still files and assign it automatically on import.

After Effects' color management system is a dusty, outdated and messy system that hasn't seen any polish in years. I would rather see them depricate it and create a rugged new system that can support this and is compatible with Premiere Pro's new management. Then in turn implement all neccesary stills and film color spaces there + autodetection where possible.
