BACK BUTTON Needed for sub-comps

Ok,

So I often find myself in projects that have 30 comps or more.  Often these are sub-comped inside easch other.  It slows me down to drill into 2 layers of sub-comps and then to get back to the top one I have to go back out to the drop down menu and scroll through all the comps to find it again.  It would be a lot easier to just have a "back" button of sorts like you see on any browser that lets you just open the previous comp that was open.  So if I drill down three sub-comps, I can make the changes I need and then "back" out to the main comp again.

  Please Adobe.....

Isn't that kind of function what the breadcrumb navigation at the top left of the composition panel does?

Shift-escape will switch between your current comp and the last one you accessed (I just recently learned this one!) It is listed in the keyboard shortcut editor, but you have to search for it since the escape key is not shown on the virtual keyboard.

Acknowledging the request. We'll add it to the list.

In the meantime, if you press the Tab key while in the Timeline panel, you'll get a flowchart of the comps relative to what you're working on. That lets you move around without needing to use the project panel.
