BACKGROUND AUTO-SAVE, Auto-save should not interrupt your workflow

Seriously, Adobe. How about you bother acknowledging this years long request? Can you at least mark it considered? Why is this one request so impossible for your team?

September 2023, and I still have to chose between being interrupted every couple of minutes, and struggling to get into the zone because AE could crash any minute for no apparent reason and I having to redo 20 minutes worth of animation work. lol

Seriously, guys: Ps, Ai and others are able to "recover" files after a crash for years now, which means the highly futuristic technology called "background auto save" seems to already exist in some way. Even in Adobe-land, so stop acting like this request was the cold fusion of software development.

Hey Adobe, why are you not responding in any way to these numerous requests on this topic? This autosave feature, as handy as it is (because Adobe applications tend to crash often 😉 ) is so annoying when working on big projects where autosave takes 2 minutes each time... 

It's 2023 !  Come on Adobe.
If you can't figure out live save, at least don't disrupt the workflow somehow.

Let that sink in while we get another "Wow is us and our small Dev team" excuse.

Hey Victoria, any news on this request spanning 5 years? In reality we have been begging for this for 20+ years but who's counting?

Yesterday I was in the middle of dragging points in Illustrator and AE just pops to the foreground with an autosave box 😄 Absolutely ridiculous behaviour and spectacular that we still have to be on here moaning about it since 2018 😄

Would be so great to get an update on this one from Adobe.
