Check and set loudness levels for a video

It would be great if Audio Loudness can be added as an effect on to an Adjustment layer, and this would control the loudness of the composition’s loudness as a whole.

Rendered videos frequently need to conform to a specific level like -23 LUFS, and this requires correcting the audio separately in Audition and re-importing the loudness-corrected audio.

      Would the current feature of selecting all clips, right clicking/audio gain/and choosing all peaks to -23?

      Sorry ​@RobShultz, did you mean such a feature already exists in After Effects? Yes, something like this is what I’m looking for.

      But rather than select clips and set the peak, the ideal route would be an adjustment layer that controls the loudness of all layers in the comp.

      This way, when I add in a new sound effect or swap the audio file, the loudness level is still maintained without having to right-click on the audio layer and choose ‘match clip loudness’ like in Audition.
