Custom Highlight Color

In the Preferences\Appearance tab it would be great if we could select a custom color for the "Highlight Color". This would make the UI more customizable and personal to each user. The old color used to be yellow and the current color is blue. But it would be amazing to be able to select any color from a pop up color picker, like we can do for the Label colors.

This would be great to change it for fun for a holiday like red for valentine's day or green for St-Paddy's day etc.

Please make this happen! I know it's not a top priority, but it would make every user very happy I am sure.

Thanks

The highlight color can be changed:
Open the Console window with CTRL-F12 (Win) or CMD-F12 (Mac) and make sure the Debug Database View is enabled.
Search for "enable_theme_colorizing" and click the checkbox to set the value to true. Now you can set a custom highlight color in Preferences\Appearance.

Unfortunately, with the recent 2025 update, this no longer works, due to the new UI changes, I guess.

While not a critical feature, it was certainly a nice one to have. Maybe it is possible to make this an "official" option in the Appearance menu someday.

You are God-Level for this! I'm still on 2023, so I guess I will hold onto
it until they make this option available in some future update!

Thanks so much!
