I'm not sure anyone who publishes fonts has an End User Licence Agreement (EULA) that alllows for the font to be collected.
Packaging an InDesign file for print is very similar to collecting an After Effects project, but as I've always understood it the former is seen as including the font for the specific purpose of printing (the last stage of the print workflow) while the latter is seen as including the font for further editing.
Forutnately, each Creative Cloud subscription plan that includes After Effects also includes full access to Adobe Fonts and those fonts will sync automatically as long as the Adobe Fonts service is enabled in the Creative Cloud Desktop user preferences.
These days the simple assumption is that everybody is using Adobe's font system, so it's even less likely to happen. It's not like this hasn't been requested over and over in the past...
