Generative Fill to replace Content-Aware Fill

Generative Fill is SO much better. Bring that technology from Photoshop into After Effects to replace Content-Aware Fill. It will make creating clean plates waaaaay faster and much better quality.

Thanks for the feedback. Indeed, we agree it's something that could be very valuable.

 

In the meantime, you can generate a reference frame from the CAF panel in AE, open that in Photoshop, make adjustments, and then come back to AE with that reference frame and CAF should do a decent job with using that to fill any gaps.

I've been using that workflow and it works for the most part, except in the
case of lighting changes and reflections. I've come up with a semi work
around, but I'm still getting less than favorable results on some shots.
