i would like to add a feature or hot key to quickly move objects with its key frames as whole from point to point without adding a new keyframe.

like if i want to move an object that start moving from left to right, i can move it from down to up with the same keyframe configurations.

hala brian

thanks for your reply, yes i know that and it's what i do actually but it slows me down.

i am suggesting a hot key like option or control that would move the object with key frame from anywhere on the timeline so it would smooth the workflow

Please let us know if the workflows we suggested solve your problem.

There actually is support for this functionality, but it is a little bit hidden. If you select ALL your position keyframes (you can do this in one click by clicking on the property name in the timeline) and then put your CTI over one of the keyframes and then move the layer in the comp window, with either mouse or arrow keys, those relative changes will be applied to all the position keyframes.

if this doesn't work for you, many motion designers will use parented nulls as a way of layering animation. Make your left to right layer a child of a null and then move that null up or down and you'll have full control over both up and down and left and right separately.
