Please Add a Swatches Palette

Managing Swatches using libraries and the eyedropper tool is just too many steps for an action that should be very simple and has been present in other Adobe apps for 20 years+ now. Just add a swatches palette, Im a little baffled that this doesn't exist, just copy how Illustrator and InDesign do it. To change colors I just select the object, click the swatch. boom done. Using the eyedropper and libararies involves so many more clicks, seems like a real oversight. Is there some technical reason why this doesnt exist?
