Can't you just use a guide layer?

yeah would be nice if we could adjust the “safe zones” in the program monitor. Right now it's just for tv zones. But we all know social media is way bigger. Please make the safe zones adjustable ….

I just added tools for social media safe zone previews to the Community Library of my (paid) extensions Automation Blocks for Pr and Automation Blocks for Ae.

The tool contains safve zone overlay images for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube Shorts and can add them to your Premiere Pro timeline or After Effects composition in one click.
