Scrub time inside the composition window

There are many times that I am going as large as possible to see as much detail as possible. I maximize my composition window. What I would like is the ability to grab the time at the bottom of that window and use that as a scrub control. (or provide a gizmo to click on to scrub with).

 

Yes, I know I can page up/down to advance the playhead, but a scrub option would be nice as well.

    I have long loved the "J for Jedi" shortcut in Cinema 4D where, no matter where your mouse cursor might be in the app – if you hold down J and scrub left or right, you move the CTI (current time indicator)/playhead. 

    It reduces so much "wrist-mileage" when working and also makes it possible to scrub when a window is fullscreen.

    Can we get "J for Jedi" in After Effects please? 🙏
