Show Gradient Tool with Knots in Properties Panel

Shape layer's gradient fill/stroke is great until you need to tweak and update your designs, by clicking to open a panel for every single one. Changing gradients should be just as accessible as fill and stroke swatches, by moving them into the properties panel.
 Sure, you can do this once, and paste the gradient to othe areas, but without a live update, auditioning colors in your gradient requires a LOT of opening and closing this panel. The main UI having a native horizontal gradient tool would be a much needed update for so many tools
