Tooltips for long layer names and comments in timeline

I often have layers that have very long names from the sources, and/or comments for the layer that can be very long, and I am constantly resizing the width of the name and comment columns between being able to see the long text and being able to see more of the timeline. It would be great to have a tooltip appear when hovering over a column that has text hidden due to being so small; in fact, since this is such a common UI behavior, I was very surprised this does not already happen.

It's a small change but would be surprisingly helpful. Thanks!
