Variable Typography Support

With the addition of Variable Type to Illustrator, I would love to see supported in After Effects. The ability to interpolate between the many variables available would be a huge benefit in motion design, streamlining the current process and saving eons of time from the current arduous method. It would open doors to some pretty amazing things.

Can't wait! I've tried Varifont and the provided script hooks, but I still have to pop over to Rive for any interesting VF animations.

It's definitely in the queue to be worked on. I can't speculate on when it will be done (Adobe being a public company, etc), but I can say it's in the queue and am hopeful we'll have something to share at some point in the not to distant future.

Is this being worked on or no? Can someone from adobe actually respond? @Douglas_Waterfall @Sébastien Périer17107209.

I know it can be accessed via scripting but we need native support and for it to be animated with the text animator without bugs and without creating 400 font menu items.

You can get this through some hack-y scripting methods but yes this needs to be a native feature yesterday.

Please add support for variable fonts! Yesterday I saw a presentation by a motion designer, and we all agreed that there should be a better integration of variable font support in After Effects. So, pleeeeease make it possible.
