With the addition of Variable Type to Illustrator, I would love to see supported in After Effects. The ability to interpolate between the many variables available would be a huge benefit in motion design, streamlining the current process and saving eons of time from the current arduous method. It would open doors to some pretty amazing things.

I would love to see variable font support in After Effects. I am a typeface designer who makes variable fonts which lend themselves to animation, and my users would love to animate my variable fonts for their projects in After Effects. With variable font support already in Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop, it seems obvious that After Effects should also support variable fonts. This will make AE so much more powerful as an application.
