Folder-preview thumbnails for Bridge

Dear Bridge team,
A core part of culling is knowing what’s inside a folder at a glance. Please add an option to generate a composite thumbnail (first 1–4 files or a user-chosen “cover”) for each folder in the Content panel—similar to ACDSee/XnView.

Why it matters

• Faster navigation through deep job trees (weddings, RAW backups, project shots).

• Reduces unnecessary double-clicks and disk scans.

• Keeps users inside Bridge instead of switching to 3rd-party browsers just for visual folders.

Optional controls that would delight users:

• Number of items in collage (1, 4, adaptive).

• Option to pin any file as “folder cover”.

• Toggle in View / Preferences so purists can keep plain icons.

Thank you for considering! Bridge is already my DAM of choice; this small UX boost would make it perfect for daily high-volume workflows.
