When viewing photos in full screen, zooming to 1:1 occurs as an animation. This extends the time to determine whether the photo is sharp. Or if there was an option to enlarge only the indicated part of the photo as a pop-up window next to the mouse cursor.

After assigning a color label to a photo in full view, it would be nice if there was an option to enable a border around the screen, not just in the lower right corner. Looking globally at the photo and the border, it would be clear what label the photo has. The visibility of the border could be activated in the options.

I can rotate photos using the ↺ ↻ buttons but not videos. It would be a good time saver if it was possible to rotate videos the same way using these buttons.

I am using BRIDGE 14.1.4.307 version. In the tool "EDIT/FIND/Filename/ends with" system interprets file extension as part of the name of file, so if you want to find what "jpg" files have a name ending with the word "house" you have to write "house.jpg". I think that the file extension should not be considered as part of the file name. Thanks.

When having to deal with hundreds if not thousands of images when downloading from your camera memory card you need something quick and auto advance to the next image would be ideal in Bridge instead of using the right arrow each time to move on each and every time

I wish the folder view options like "Show Items from Subfolder" and "Show Folders" could be made permanent. They reset every time I open a new folder. I want to un-check the show folders because I already have folders on the left sidebar. I need to show all items in the folder even if they are in a subfolder. Not everyone will need this setting, but the people that need this will usually want it for all folders, not just for the current folder. In addition to that most important issue (persisting the folder view options), Would be very useful to show only specific types of files in the current view, to see only photos (which I might edit in Photoshop) or videos (which I might edit in other Adobe programs) or other Adobe related media. Instead, I see a lot of random system files and documents which I do not care to edit in Adobe programs. They only get in the way, prevent me from seeing all my images and videos and other media. I only want to see in Bridge files that I might want to edi

Hitting Backspace when a photo or multiple photos are selected in a Collection should result in the selected photos to be removed from the collection NOT moved to trash/bin.

Newer fields from the IPTC standard or predefined values are missing under copyright law. The Digital Source Type must be revised in the vocabulary. The specification ‘Created with software’ is now inadequate in view of artificial intelligence. The field for opting out of text and data mining is also missing.

Replace colors of the color labels with individual color palette

Since Adobe Bridge 2022, version 12, a blue line has appeared around active panels and thumbnails in versions 13, 14, and now 15. Please consider adding an option to turn off this feature or change the color. It is very distracting when reviewing images for photo editing.

It seems like every time I get a brand new version of Bridge, the scrolling feature becomes slow and exhausting. I was previously able to reach the bottom of my photos in just a few scrolls of the mouse wheel. Now when I scroll, it takes FOREVER to reach the bottom. The page doesn't even jump a half step when scrolling when it used to jump a full step. I now have to drag the side bar to reach the bottom. This is not user friendly at all. Please please please return it to the fast, smooth scrolling we had before the update!!!

Multiple magnifying glasses in one image - it would be nice to see a detail zoom of multiple points on one image, especially when comparing to a similar image (ex: see which image is sharpest across multiple depth of field areas)

Adobe Bridge is compatible with After Effects and Photoshop Betas. It should be compatible with Premiere Pro and Media Encoder betas too, so we can send to Premiere and ME from the Tools menu.

The Best thing about Bridge is being able to See nearly all file types. However, designers often wear more than one hat. Photography, Web, Print, Video...etc.The problem with the Metadata and file info panel is that it's extremely useless. This panel should be customizable to the file type selected. If the file is an illustrator file, one should be able to see and move around all the fields that are possible. Inch, CM, Pixel, Pages, Colour...etcif a file type doesn't have F-Stop info, it shouldn't take up 20% of this valuable space. Document Type - redundantApplication - nearly as redundantFile size - Redundant colour Profile - often Untagged and Redundant when it could be CMYK or RGB or BothIf illustrator/Photoshop has rules set to in/cm/px the dimension here should reflect that.

This is a simple one. Just add .heic to the already long list of document type searches in smart collections.

Suppose you had a whole bunch of .eps files scattered in many folders.Using Bridge (with Show Items from Subfolders) I can select them all, even though they are in multiple sub-folders.I wish to cycle them through Illustrator; and Save-As to a current .AI file ... saved back into the correct sub-folder.How would you automate that? An action? How would it know the correct subfolder?(BTW, in Bridge, you can automate batching pixel-based files to whatever you want like .PSD. But that won't work for vector graphics.)Bridge file renaming is pretty good, but cannot yet GREP search and replace characters. For example, I often rename underscores to hyphens in large volumes of file names.

Metadata fields like IPTC's Country have a limited number of likely values, e.g. "USA". It would be good to have the application 'remember' values and disambiguate as the user types, to speed metadata editing and eliminate extra keystrokes.

Very often I need to apply the same metadata to a limited number of fields, to a large number of files across multiple subdirectories. Right now, I have to open each subdirectory and select the files then re-type the meta data. It would be much more productive if I could select the folders I want to edit and then edit a batch metadata window where blank fields would retin existing file metadata, and where I enter metadata, it would replace whatever data is in individual metadata fields in the individual files, across all the subdirectories.

I use bridge as the default folder browser in windows.I don't understand why Adobe removed the shortcut (Ctrl+F4) to close tabs and also removed the option to click on a tab to close them all (Close All).These are such futile things that make a total difference in the daily work routine, greatly optimizing time.Please Adobe, come back with these features that existed before and I don't know why they were removed.Thanks.

I work with several Bridge windows open, so it would be helpful if the positions of all open windows was saved when quitting the app. As things stand, only the “primary” window is restored on relaunching Bridge, which means I have to set up my workspace each time. Additionally, it would be useful to have window positions saved in Workspaces.

In the 'slideshow option' in Adobe Bridge it would be nice to have an option for change color of the background, regardless of the 'image backdrop' color chosen in the appearance option.
