For a beginner I don't know even where to start with that.

Are you using the latest version (3.2)?

Normally all you have to do is add Fixed handles (click with the Pin tool with the desired layer/group selected) or sticks as you've done. There are two common pitfalls:

1) the Handle Fixer behavior must be applied to the puppet. This behavior is applied by default, but can be removed. The "rigging issues" pane at the bottom of the Puppet panel (caution triangle) can warn you about this problem — it will notice that you have used tags that aren't being seen by any behavior.

2) if the origin of the group that holds the handle(s) is being moved by another behavior, it will also move those Fixed handles. So in effect, they are only fixed relative to their neighboring pins, not their parents. We are working on a way to say "fix relative to the scene" instead of the current "fix relative to the group origin". In the meantime, the workaround is move the tags that are on the origin controlling the fixed handles to somewhere further down the hierarchy where they won't affect the fixed handles.
