You should be able to simply COPY the assets on a scene and PASTE into another.

Or simply DUPLICATE A SCENE!

That's not what the original question asks for. They want to select a puppet or an audio take, hit CMD-C, switch to another scene, then hit CMD-V and have the selected timeline items pasted into the target scene.
I have to say I'm completely baffled that this isn't possible now. Copy/paste operations on objects is one of the most fundamental UI concepts there is. Why can't I copy an audio take in one scene and paste it into another scene?
At the moment if I have a sequence of takes to move to another scene, every ounce of intuition says select the audio take tracks (which CA lets you do) copy, switch to the desired target scene, and then paste. Instead, I have to right-click on each track, choose Reveal In Project, switch to the target scene, then drag that clip down into the timeline.

One. At. A. Time.

Heaven help you if you've done any splitting or trimming of those audio takes. Tough luck ******!

Completely nuts.

Agreed that Copy & Paste of a scene would be handy for moving a scene between projects — which currently requires importing one project into another.

To duplicate a scene, select it in the Project panel and choose Edit > Duplicate from the main menu bar.
