I would be great if we could drag triggers from the control panel onto the time line instead of having to record each trigger, it gets time consuming when you have to turn off all other recordings just to add 1 trigger.

Ive actually accidentally done it before when i was deep in my work flow. Dragged it in and when it didn't work i thought dang that would be really useful.

I do find it hard to press the right key (or find the right button on the control panel) even with a slower recording speed. It would be AWESOME if we had a "layer of triggers", where we'd tell Character Animator wich triggers/replays would be played at that time!

Good idea. We do have a shortcut/workaround for this that works now: select a trigger in the Triggers panel (also makes the Triggers panel focused, which is required for this), then hit cmd/ctrl-1, -2, or -3. That trigger will then be added as a 1) 1-frame take, 2) 2-frame take, or 3) work-area-duration take. No need to turn off other parameters.
