Yes, Fuse must incorporate motion capture functionality to make it a standout product. This feature will revolutionize the Video Novel publishing process.

I have to agree with Adam, this seems like such a natural thing to do and a reasonable expectation for those who had both CA and Fuse why would you just not be able to drag the character you just made in Fuse onto a CA timeline, add mixamo animations (ohh, yeah, that's ANOTHER thing Adobe has basically screwed things up) until we have a full mocap solution for CA, why not be able to use .bvh etc. to animate Fuse characters inside CA, then use the morph targets I've been told that Fuse characters have to do the lip-synching and facial animations. There is SO many missed opportunities here for both CA and Fuse, it's staggering. For awhile I thought the webcam driven mixamo facial animation was going to go further, and while it made it into what CA is today, there is such a pipeline that could be developed using just adobe assets, yet now I have to try and see what iClone and their Character Creator offer since I can't have native adobe apps for these important animation tasks playing nice with each other....sigh.

@usnorway I was asked to post this request on this forum by someone at Adobe. It seems kind of weird that they would request that if it wasn't feasible on a Mac. Fuse works just fine on Macs and Adobe hasn't made mostly Mac software in a very long time. Nearly their entire suite is cross-platform, and for some time Windows became a larger priority. Is there any evidence to what you're saying? If you're going to make statements like these, please back them up with evidence or you're going to confuse people.

the issue is that it would take more power than a Mac can muster so it will be a Windows only option... Adobe is a US that mostly makes Mac software

I've always thought it was weird that this integration didn't exist from the start. It seems like the most natural crossover for Fuse. It seems like the barrier to entry for Character Animator has more to do with puppet creation than anything else, so I think this would benefit a lot of people. Although I like drawing mine from scratch, I can think of several things I'd use characters designed in Fuse for.
