Hello. I was trying out the new Body tracking and i thought two parameters could help greatly with eliminating jitter.Interval and Degrees. While the body is tracked at all points at all time, the system would allow you to remove tracking issues that only last a few frames.interval would allow you to set a timeframe, that the software would then use as keyframe positions for the limbs and interpolate the tracked limbs towards those keyframe positions. The degrees function would use the live tracking and at all times be tracking the number of degrees your body tracker limbs are moving away from their current position (or rotating rather), and if you hit the degree limit within a short time span, the interval would turn off and you would capture every frame live the way you do now, settling back into interval mode when the limb is no longer performing large movements. This would allow for both reduction of jitter when the body is somewhat stationary and it's the tracker that's jumping aro
should move simultaneously one after the other so you can basically type the word out instead of having to move to move the mouse

You should be able to export a camera to a different scene.
Similar to how you you can turn on the visibility of your dragger handles, there are times when I'd find it helpful if my sticks showed up green on the stage so I could troubleshoot their placement. When the legs or arms are warping in ways I don't like, the solution is often to trial-and-error move those sticks around and find the perfect sweet spot. I think I might be able to pinpoint what part of the stick is influencing the mesh in an ugly way if I could see the sticks while the puppet's moving.
Hello! Can you fix the Jimmy Neutron characters?
My main issue still is setting up the correct arm movement with Limb IK-behaviour. After hours of trial-and-error I almost give up. The bending, stretching and flipping of the elbows and shoulders seems impossible to set up. Especially the fact that -to move the puppet's arms- you naturally make a torsion/twisting movement to make an inside or outside hinge movement with your elbow. Is there a way to let Character Animator detect that twist movement? Maybe with a dedicated colored shirt or some kind of stickers on the arms? Without the right movement detection I'm afraid it wil always look a bit strange and unnatural.
support for EpocCam on PC, win10
You label the parts on your puppet and then match with the face/body tracking by clicking on the corresponding area in the video feed or an image from the feed.
This is an extremely important function for teams to collaborate on CH. Every time we try to access a file located on a network drive we get the error message - "Cannot open project << F: //ANIMA/.../Ch Data / repo.noindex / >> If it is on a server, copy it to a local disk and open it from from this location."So currently we have to backup or copy file packages to and fro different local drives to be able to work off different computers, which is very cumbersome.
When manually adjusting visemes it only moves a frame at a time. If I want it to move less than a frame I have to cut it which slows the process down. It would be helpful to be able to adjust a viseme more accurately than jumping to a frame at a time.
It would be helpful to be able to nudge performance elements forwards or backward a frame at a time. I'm able to do this in Premier by selecting a piece of footage, holding ALT, and using the arrow keys. It's a great way to quickly adjust timings.
Is there a way to add motion blur on camera moves? I find that when creating camera moves with a scene camera the motion is very choppy. I realise I can do this in AE, but it is time-saving just to add camera set-ups in CA.
I'm new to Adobe and just started to use Character Animator. And I love it. But I can't find a way you can have a live backgroud in Character Animator. So I gues you can't do it. By live backgroud I mean you could set the desktop as background so you can have a caracter that can explain whats on the screen. I have two screens and want to make a video for my students where the puppets shows and explain what I'm showing on the other screen. If you could import the desktop live, or if you could have an another webcam as background you could use OBS or Menycam with virutal cam. With an extra webcam as live background you could also point to a geen screen and record the puppet with a real person at the same time. Without making two records that you mix togheter in Premier. It's easyer to record it live at the same time, than mix two videos afterwords. It's hard to get the puppet to point on the right place.
When recording a replay it would be helpful if a trigger would stop/sustain in the same way as draggers do. After recording a replay I have to go back into the timeline and edit the duration of triggers to match the draggers.
I want you to support loading videos.Because It can take advantage of physical properties. can't do that by loading into After Effects.
Honestly, if you ever made a character in character makers, most of them are made by people who are doing them for other people, not company. While with maker files, there is a set of puppets you can choose from, and the styles are limited. Making a maker for .maker files would be a great solution! There are artist who will be able to make a custom makers, and Character Animator community would rise! There is a need for it.
FEATURE REQUEST. Hi, how is it possible that in other FREE Apps like Blender and Unreal Engine 5, I can use my own phone's camera without limits and not in this one? Not even wired? Really guys? Please try to add it ASAP because it breaks all our worfkflow. Thank you!
Please add Turkish language support, if you add 3D characters and 3d scenes, your program's income will fly.
Add two or three puppets that can turn their heads.
Some of us need TEXT for explainer video its something simple and quick but very effective please add the option to enter our own text. Thanks
E.g. the sound of an English 'A' is in Dutch the sound of an 'E'.It would be nice if there was a possibility to use native letters for sounds.
I think it's a mistake. HD is 1080, not 1088.
Vector artwork does not stay original. Character animator changes the artwork for some reason.
