Allow Using Multiple Accounts On The Same Computer

i think an adobe employee recently posted something is being done to help with this.

I have a similar situation, except the acrobat that I use is licensed under my work account and my photoshop (which I sometimes need for work, is a personal account) The constant signing out and back in when switching between the two is cumbersome at best.

@kglad -- it was the same ID but one account was enterprise and the other was individual, but again, I ask, what does it matter? I don't want to hijack this thread from the OP, nor do I wish to explain how different organizations operate, so if either of you wants to continue the conversation, please consider posting to a different thread and sharing that here.

why don't the different departments use the same id so you don't have to change your sign-in account?

I use to be exactly in the same situation as the OP, i.e. different departments paying for different subscriptions, but as of a couple months ago, it is now as you describe. Does the distinction matter, or why the clarification?

Do you have multiple subscriptions because of a decision by your IT department (same as the OP),  or do you have an individual subscription and it's your decision?

It's a similar situation for me as well. I often have to switch between the 3D and 2D apps, but each belong to different subscriptions. It's not the logging in/out that is the issue, it's that I have to save & quit my work constantly, which takes time, especially with large files. This is very disruptive and I'm sure impacts a not insignificant percentage of users.
