Creative Cloud Lite

Hi,

Has Adobe ever considered creating a Lite version?

When internet speeds are not optimal... animating menus are a bore to watch.

Getting bigger... fading on... all the fancy stuff that just clogs my actual working process.

Just have the menus appear - no bells and whistles!

Thanks.

that consumes local resources, but not online resources.

Would the Creative Cloud UI Helper feature have an impact during low-internet speed conditions do you think?

you cited internet speeds to justify lite versions.  the only internet factor is the initial download.

if you wanted something with low local computational demands, the online solution is clearly superior and much more likely to be implemented.

I wonder if less animation and fade on each window, menu, and flyout would be easier in a low-internet speed scenario... less animation~information for everything to process.
What do you mean by 'download' when you say 'issues'?

that's unlikely to help with download issues.

Interesting! I did not know this.
I am referring really to a lite interface, rather than lite features ...

adobe already has some online apps and this is probably a better idea.

All Adobe apps. I think Windows Explorer could also reduce the look and feel of menus and windows' animations and just have them as 'there' or 'not there'. What is your opinion on this?

What Adobe apps would you need a lite version for?
