Feature Request: Streamlined User Profile Switching in Creative Cloud
Dear Adobe Creative Cloud Team,
I am writing to suggest a feature enhancement for the Creative Cloud desktop application to improve the user experience for individuals who frequently work with multiple Adobe accounts or profiles.
Problem:
Currently, the Creative Cloud application requires users to fully sign out of one account before signing in to another. This is a time-consuming and disruptive process, especially for users who need to switch between accounts multiple times during a workflow. This process interrupts work and can be frustrating.
Proposed Solution:
I propose implementing a "Switch Profile" or "Account Switcher" feature within the Creative Cloud desktop application. This feature would allow users to:
- Save and store multiple Adobe account credentials within the application.
- Quickly switch between these saved accounts without the need to fully sign out and sign back in.
- Potentially, offer an option to have multiple profiles logged in simultaneously (if technically feasible) or a very fast swap.
Benefits:
- Improved Workflow Efficiency: Significantly reduce the time and effort required to switch between accounts, leading to a smoother and more productive workflow.
- Enhanced User Experience: Provide a more seamless and user-friendly experience, reducing frustration associated with account management.
- Increased Accessibility: Make it easier for users with different needs or roles (e.g., freelancers, educators, agencies) to manage their various Adobe identities.
Use Cases:
- Freelancers working on projects for different clients, each with separate Adobe accounts.
- Educators using personal accounts and institutional accounts.
- Designers in agencies who need to access client-specific assets or libraries.
- Users managing personal and business accounts.
I believe that implementing a streamlined profile switching feature would be a valuable improvement to the Creative Cloud desktop application, greatly benefiting a wide range of users.
Thank you for considering this suggestion.
