Improve CC interface

General feedback on the use of CC desktop application to find and activate fonts.

It is unfortunate that Adobe has not seen fit, in the course of many years, to invest a little time to improve the CC interface for finding and activating fonts. The app's "find" goes through everything except font names, and the menu at top does include fonts. The font window automatically expands all font familiess (activate or inactive) and does not list the fonts alphabetically by name, so that scrolling down is a major undertaking. In short, the desktop is generally a pain to use and has become simply a way to get to the web site. It is a very poor use of resources and has a terrible interface which Adobe really should improve (I avoid it as much as possible), since it is their central connection to everything Adobe.

I second everything OP says, particularly about the haphazard organization of the Adobe Font window. Looking forward to this improvement.

Sort fonts alphabetically seems like a basic interface function. I'm amazed that this isn't possible in the desktop app. The link listed here for Feature Request is broken.

Thanks for the help--this was the forum that came up, and I didn't realize other forums existed.

This is a product user forum.  The engineers don't lurk here.

As @Peru Bob  said, Adobe UserVoice is for feedback and feature requests. If enough other people agree with your idea, it may get added to a future release.

I've moved this from the Using the Community forum (which is the forum for issues using the forums) to the CC forum.
