Things in the CC client that are wrong
As far as I k now, there is no user voice page for the client, hence I put this here. With the current version 6.0.0.571, following things are either version specifically wrong or in general:
- There is no switch to turn off synchronization. The synch will always automatically start when starting the client, so you must stop it. The synch would even start if there is nothing to synch.
- The About window is blurry (see below)
- When wanting to have two versions of the same app installed and installing a newer after an older, CC would still call it an update, though it isn't one.
- In the install process of the newer, the checkmark for "Uninstall older version" is automatically checked. Very unpleasent should you overlook it.
- Under "Your libraries" it lists a few libs I never created. When deleting the first one, the next is called "Your library" and then the next one, too. So I had three libs called "Your library"?
- When deleting the last library, it occasionally comes up with a screen "Oops, something went wrong. Cannot synch" and there is a button "Retry". After a few seconds, the message disappears and the lib is back again. If you repeat, the message wouldn't always come. The CC tells "Library permanently deleted", but it pops back up every time. Seems, you cannot delete the last lib, which doesn't make sense. I don't need libs, I don't need synching. If I do the lib deletion on the website, there it works as expected.
- When deleting a lib, the synch will start again. The goal is to perhaps only the local original and not an online copy or vice versa; as it seems, this isn't possible, as you cannot set "don't synch this lib".
- The CC synch information window tells me I used 1 GB of 1 TB storage, though there is not a single file synched from my PC. Seems it synchs other data which you have not control of and which I cannot see.
- Languages: while you can select the language to install an app in, you cannot select the CC client's language. It will install in the system's default language.
