To be able to use the creative cloud to access all file types
So I like to organise, and whilst I think it's great that Lightroom has its own cloud that I can store files in a jpg format, it seems like this could also be done for the creative cloud app too and yet it isn't. Talking to an agent and according to this old post (https://helpx.adobe.com/nz/creative-cloud/help/cloud-document-faqs.html#uploading-and-managing-files?product=Creative%20Cloud%20Desktop&product-version=6.4.0.361&mv=product&mv2=accc) I found that you used to be able to upload jpg and others but can't now. I feel like this makes me less flexible.
Now I can't use the creative cloud storage as a place to organise all my cloud files, I can see that they are accounted for by showing me how much storage I've used, but I can't see my jpgs from lightroom cloud in my creative cloud and this is frustrating. Picture a family tree, the creative cloud app should and does act like a parent that gives access to some of the files saved from the other apps (the children) which could be photoshop as a psdc file or maybe adobe reader. But because i can't see all the files, I have to go into other apps now to access them e.g. jpgs in lightroom which is essentially like an uncle because now I'm having to open a different app rather than see all the files together (under one lineage or common ancestor). It makes me feel like using the creative cloud app to manage and organise files is redundant. I can't use it as a second brain/back-up as I may be missing out on some files that i showed or sent to a client, and I could be using this program for years. Now if I need to look back at a project on creative cloud, it won't show the files from the weird uncle or aunty (in this case jpgs from lightroom). I would have to remember that they can only be accessed from lightroom, which means double the level of file management. Also because file management doesn't really exist in the lightroom cloud other than by album which isn't very helpful.
In essence, if I can use an adobe app like lightroom, then I should be able to see what ever file type my creation is in the creative cloud file management section. This would make it a place that houses all cloud files of all the apps and better suits the name creative cloud.
I hope whoever reads this understands me, and maybe I'm being daft and if I am excuse me I'm new to all this, but I used to use lightroom classic a while ago. I've never felt like such a nerd, and even if this feature isn't adjusted, I hope you had a laugh at least.
