Would like to see generative AI for creating shapes and other complex vectors in illustrator

there is not gradient tool on the web verion of Illustrator

It would be great if there was an interface color that matched the desktop app.  The light one is far too light, and the dark one is too dark.    Thxs

I don't see an option for the pattern maker. Please let me know if this is available, if not, If you add this to the available functions of the illustrator on the web, I will subscribe in the future. For now, I am going to cancel my subscription and continue creating patterns the old-school way.

I think the artboard should be visible.So just like in illustrator there needs to be a clear indication of where the artboard ends. Maybe make an outline around the artboard?

It would be great if I could select text that's already been typed so I can edit it. For example, a paragraph that's been typed and I want to make one word bold or change the font, it seems the only way I can do it is by deleting it and retyping. 

I love that this is finally being created. I would like to be able to use is on my Samsung Tablet. And be able to create 3d objects.

The print button to the Universal Laser Systems is missing.

Please add the scissor tool to separate paths! Or if there is a tool similar, make it more obvious when a path is selected.   <Title renamed by moderator>

It would be nice to be able to scroll across the screen, so left-right, as well. It's quite annoying having to zoom out, select an object, then do CTRL+0 to zoom in and then back out a bit if necessary just to get the specific point that I want to work on.

Would love to see the Libraries tab available in Illustrator on the Web! And to have the libraries sync with the Creative Cloud apps in real time. This way I can select my brand colors, add graphics, etc. while working on the web 🙂

Once you click on your artboard, the window for Recolor / Generative Recolor disappears. If you want to select another object and use the same colours that you generated previously, on a different object, you can't. The variations reset each time.   Also, it would be nice to keep the recolor window open and have the option to close it when you want to.   Thanks 🙂 

So I noticed that, along with how both CMYK and HEX are both visible at same time (really loved the change by the way), you added a color picker. However, I beleive it should allow you to choose an exact color from the design, rather than the color of a object in it. To explain what I mean more, I use the PLACE tool for putting in reference images for my designs. But when I try to get a color from a reference image, I can't because it "has no color" or something; so when I need a direct color from one of the areas in said image,  I have to use a whole different site just so I can use THAT color picker, then I have to get the hex code, copy it, come back to Illustrator, and paste it in. I don't wanna go through all these extra steps anymore; it takes forever, easy to mess up, and it is inefficient. I hope this will be taken into consideration.

For all tools where other tools are hidden, you must hold down the mouse button to see the hidden tools. Only with the Blob Brush Tool do the various brushes appear when you click on the tool and disappear when you click on the BBT again with the mouse button held down. This was confusing at first

I miss scroll bars for the artboards

would be great if you could set the corner radius for each corner individually

The Common Actions Bar tends to get in the way of objects I'm working with in the Ai beta workspace. I'd really like a way to "permanently" pin/dock it somewhere I choose (I can change it if I want to, but I have full control of placement loc. & duration there). FYI, I feel the same way about the Contextual Toolbar in Ps.... I don't want the CAB popping up into my workspace. Or, resetting itself to do that with each new usage session of Web Ai. I'd like to be able to dock it somewhere easily accessible but not right in the middle of where I'm working. I find that a serious distraction.
