P: Ability to sync Smart Collections with Ecosystem Clients

I’m paying extra for SmugMug right now because they allow this. Shouldn’t have to do that!

Add my YES vote!!  Please.  Just doesn't make sense otherwise!

I wish I could use CC for the seamless cloud synching - BUT, until the features to create criteria based Smart Albums and the ability to compare multiple photos large side by side are added, Lightroom CC is a useless, but very promising app. These features are critical to efficient workflow and management. It's also the reason I can't use Apple Photos app, which allows smart albums but no comparison feature, and no preset edit saving - which CC can do. Still waiting for that simplified cloud based photo app to replace Lightroom Classic. So far there is none that has the feature set I need.

In my usual desktop workflow I don't actually use Smart Collections - and rarely standard Collections - at all. Instead, I just go to a folder and filter my 'Flagged' images to work on.

The problem now that Lr Mobile is part of my workflow, is that if drag Flagged photos into a standard (dumb?) Collection and then Unflag them on the desktop, they won't automatically be removed from the collection on the mobile device.

Sorting through the images I want to work on later while I'm on the go is the primary reason for me using Lr mobile. I do very little actual editing on mobile.

Sooner the better, its little bit "funny", that this Smart Collection sync feature does not already exist 😉

For me it is a must have as well. If we can have it for the desktop version only, it would be OK for me. For instance if I want to filter on what is not in an Album to find some lost photos; it is simply not possible. I need it to organize my photos and I can do that when I have my desktop available. It is not required for iPad. Apple Photos has it. For Lr should be better than this, otherwise what is the point of having the app?

I am enjoying LR CC.  A solid V1.0 release.  If I could add one feature to LR CC it could be smart collection.  I use smart collections extensively in Classic. I'd be so happy to see them in CC

It'd be great if LR CC's albums had the ability to automatically add pictures/videos based on selected keywords. For example, I could setup an album named "My Dog", and it would automatically collect all pictures that I tagged with the name of my dog.

smart albums please ! they are essential to my workflow! also the ability to view photos not in albums. Since coming from "classic" and a photo being stored in and actual folder, now they are virtual which is fine but I need to know which photos did not make it in an album. I am very careful to import photos into albums but seeing some did not make it in makes me feel very lost.
